I am captivated by African faces. It is far more than a fascination with vibrant colors; it is a profound reverence for the free spirits that flow beneath that canvas of hues. I love to observe them, but even more, I yearn to touch them with my brush strokes. In their gaze, I read a long-lost stillness—unhurried and undisturbed, a quiet bravery of the wilderness born of living entirely for oneself.

Though I grew up in the countryside, the true essence of nature somehow eluded me. Tales of wild animals and memories of desolate forests harbored a subtle, underlying fear in my young heart.
Perhaps it was precisely this reverence that, over the years, fermented into an irresistible attraction. I began to long passionately for that raw, unadorned, and untamed nature.

On my canvases, you can easily discover them: skin as dark as the night and as grounded as the earth. Upon that skin, I stubbornly preserve every spot, texture, and mark. They are not flaws, but badges of honor carved by the elements—the purest breath of nature, long extinct within the cement jungles of the city.

I cannot put down my brush. As long as this passionate love continues to burn, I will keep chasing those free spirits across the wilderness of color and line.
